Dr. Albadawi is a Registered Psychological Assistant (PSB) who practices individual, couples/partners, and group therapy under the supervision of Dr. Marissa Long, MAOB, Psy.D.
Dr. Albadawi earned his Psy.D. and M.A. with an emphasis in Multicultural Community Clinical Psychology from the APA-Accredited Clinical Psychology program at Alliant International University. Dr. Albadawi also earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Irvine.
Training and Experience
Dr. Albadawi has provided psychotherapy to individuals of all ages and has worked with anxiety, panic, mood, psychosis, trauma, and substance use issues. He recently completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Johns Hopkins University Counseling Center, where he worked with young adults on issues of cultural conflict, identity development, family of origin conflict, relationship issues, couples/partners therapy, and academic stress. Dr. Albadawi has also provided group therapy addressing Interpersonal Skills and Grief & Loss. Dr. Albadawi has worked in a variety of settings, including college counseling, community mental health, and chemical dependency clinics.

He uses a warm and down-to-earth style that welcomes clients to share their stories and cultural experiences, and helps in finding tangible solutions to specific concerns. With a touch of humor, Dr. Albadawi helps clients feel more at ease and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I am from a family-oriented Arabic background, and I always appreciate spending quality time with my loved ones (including furry family members!). When not at work, I also enjoy outdoor activities, theme parks, and I am a huge foodie. Shawarma, sushi, and pizza are my top three!
